The angels in Heaven now are rejoicing for they have a new member this Christmas Day. Brenda Carroll Brittenham died Dec. 25, 2012, at North Big Horn Hospital in Lovell after a long, hard fight with liver cancer.

Brenda was born on July 8, 1953, in Flint, Mich., to Charles and Ora Jean Isham. She was the second of three children, which included her brothers Brad and Gary. She attended schools in the Flint area, graduating in 1971.

She gave birth to her beautiful daughter Mia in 1977. She met her husband-to-be Greg in 1983 in Flint. They moved to Lovell in 1985 and were married on Dec. 6, 1985. She worked for the Western Sugar Co. from the time she moved here until January of 2011 when her health started failing. She was a lab lead chemist for many years.

She loved her job and everybody that she worked with. Her passions in life were spending time with her daughter Mia. She loved her dogs Cubbie and Hannah. She loved horses and going to horse shows with Mia.

She also was an avid book reader. She loved to read. She loved Wyoming, the mountains, camping, traveling to Yellowstone, Jackson and Cooke City, Mont. Brenda loved people and they loved her. She would help anybody whether she knew them or not. She took pride in everything that she did.

Brenda is survived by her loving husband Greg, daughter Mia (Bob) Eichenberger of Cody, her brothers Brad Isham of Flint, Mich., and Gary (Pam) Isham of Burton, Mich., her aunt Katherine Kelly of Owosso, Mich., and 14 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother Ora Jean and father Charles Isham.

Brenda got the ultimate gift of going home to Heaven on Christmas Day, and she is not in pain anymore.

Services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at the Lovell Bible Church.

Burial is to follow at a later time in Michigan.
