Roberto Barron, 80, of Lovell, died on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at New Horizons Care Center in Lovell. He was born June 7, 1934 in Hargill, Texas, the son of Antonio and Maria Davila Barron.

Roberto attended school in Hargill, Texas until the 6th grade. Roberto was a migrant farm worker with his family. They travelled from Texas to California, Washington, and Wyoming for 59 years. Roberto has lived in Lovell since 2011.  When Roberto was 20, he met Elisa Garza and on May 29, 1954 they married in Edingburg, Texas. To this union 12 children were born.

Roberto loved music and dancing. He was a joker. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Roberto is preceded in death by his parents; a twin brother, Gilberto; his son, Roberto Barron Jr.; and grandson, Rosendo Barron.

He is survived by his wife, Elisa Barron of Lovell; his sons, Pablo G. Barron of Lubbock, Texas, Omar Roel Barron of Lovell, Wyoming, Dimas Barron and Pedro Antonio Barron of Sunnyside, Washington; daughters, Gloria Barron, Diana Barron, Rosa Elia Montanez all of Lovell, Wyoming, Aurora B. Rodriguez of Cody, Wyoming, Melinda Barron of Lubbock, Texas, Yolanda Barron Davila of Hargill, Texas, and Monica B. Zesati of Everett, Washington; 38 Grandchildren, 61 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild.

Rosary will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Haskell Funeral Home in Lovell. Cremation will take place after the Rosary and Memorial Services will be held at a later date in Texas.
