Geraldine, "Jeri," Pryde NeVille of Byron, Wyoming passed away on April 5, 2017 after a short stay in the New Horizons Care Center. Jeri was ninety-nine on her last birthday, November 14, of 2016. Her husband, Edwin Jennings NeVille who lived to the age of ninety-nine and a half, preceded her in death. They were the longest married couple living in the United States when Ed passed away April of 2015, a marriage of eighty-one years, four months.

Jeri's parents were Alexander Pryde and Mary Vervean Denney. Her brother, Robert A Pryde, and her youngest sister, Julia Ann Pryde, preceded Jeri in death. Three sisters, Roselin Kylander and Mary Alyce Whitmore of Powell, Wyoming, survive her. Her sister Phyllis Mae Smith lives in Carson City, Nevada. Her sons are Edwin Denney NeVille of Byron and Wallace Jennings NeVille of Vallejo, California. Her daughter, Cody Marie Mazuran, lives in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Jeri was born in Byron, but at age, five attended first grade in Elk Basin where her father, Alex was employed. Her family also lived for a short time in Lovell and Powell, Wyoming and in Downey, Idaho before they settled permanently in Byron. There she met her future husband, Ed NeVille, who was also born and raised in Byron. They were active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, lived a long, happy and productive life together and will be well remembered and missed by family and friends. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Ed and Jeri had eighteen grandchildren and forty-eight great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in the LDS Byron Ward on Wednesday, April 12 at 2:00 P.M. Interment will take place in the Byron cemetery following the services.
