Mark Sessions Welch, son of Louis Jay and Carol Welch, passed away quietly Monday, December 3, 2018 in Cody, Wyoming at the age of 46.  Mark was born in Lovell, Wyoming on March 21, 1972.  He was the youngest of 7 children.

Mark lived in Cowley, Wyoming and went to Cowley Elementary school until moving to Utah with his parents in 1984.  He then attended Bennion Junior High School and Taylorsville High School where he made many good friends, including another brother of heart, Todd Stewart.   He and Todd had many odd jobs together.  Another job Mark had was a cook in Park City, Utah where he discovered his love of cooking and appreciation of good food. Mark went on to be a Finish Carpenter and a Superintendent of construction for Jacobson's Construction.  At one time he was the Super over 4 jobs in Denver.  He worked in several states including Alaska, Washington, Colorado, Nevada, and Utah.  Mark also loved helping people.  We are still finding out how many he did help in all the areas that he lived.

Mark loved the outdoors, especially anything involving riding motorcycles.  He spent many weekends at the sand dunes riding.  There were only a few people that could beat him up to the top. He loved kickboxing, archery, and guns.

Mark is survived by his parents, Louis Jay and Carol Welch, siblings, Debra (Craig) Forbush, Louis Gary Welch, Wendell (Heidi) Welch, Nancy (Bert) Nazer, Tracey (Brad) Haskell, and Terri (Dusty) Brosious. He has 20 nieces and nephews with 26 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his niece, Wendy Forbush.

To the Family,
I want to express how sorry to read about your loss. Losing a family member can be very painful. When I lost my father, I found comfort in what the Bible teaches.
I fully believe, as the Bible teaches, that God will restore paradisaic conditions to our earth and that he yearns to bring back to life on earth those who have died—including our family members. (Job 14:14, 15; John 5:28, 29)
We can look forward to the day when we will hold and embrace them again. Every time we hear the word “paradise,” that hope warms our hearts! In the meantime, we can take comfort in the fact that they are in God’s memory.
I hope the same thoughts may bring your family comfort in dealing with your loss.

We loved Mark. He did much to help a lot of people that struggled as he did. He taught us and inspired us in many ways. We miss him already and pray that you will be comforted in this great loss.

I don't even know where to begin. He was such a special person and meant so much to me. I know he is at rest now and no longer tormented. I miss him very much and love him even more. I am so happy that we had the times together we did while he was here. I will miss our daily chats. My condolences go to you all, his family. God bless his soul.
