Brent May Wardell was born in Lovell, Wyoming on May 22, 1956 to Albert J. Wardell and Phern May Wardell. He spent his childhood years here and went into masonry work right out of high school. He did this for about 30 years.

Brent loved and lived for hunting and fishing. He loved spending time in the mountains and spent a lot of time with his Dad and Grandpa Wardell. He even went hunting this fall and got his antelope, a deer, and an elk.

He married Jaloise Murphy and to this union, a daughter and son were born. The marriage later ended in divorce. Brent married RaNae Matheson on February 7, 1996. She brought to this marriage 3 sons and a daughter. Brent and RaNae were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple on September 17, 1999.

Brent passed away in the Lovell Hospital on December 11, 2018 after suffering from cancer for almost 2 years.

I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to all of Brent’s family. Death is the hardest thing we have to deal with in life. I know my words can do little to ease the pain you are feeling, so I pray that the God of comfort be with you to help you cope. (2 Thessalonians 2:16,17) Lean on Him in the days to follow and read of our amazing hope for our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. (John 5:28) For the Bible’s answers to questions about grief and death please visit JW.org.

We might lose faith in God when we blame him for the wars, violence, and misery that afflict mankind. Soon Jehovah God will remove all causes of suffering. He has already arranged for a Kingdom, or government, under his Son, Christ Jesus, to rule mankind. Soon this Kingdom will remove all who oppose it and will eliminate the causes of human suffering.
