Gary and I grew up together in the 1950s. He was bold, confident, cheeky and entrepreneurial. He was filled with dreams and schemes. He liked to go do things, and my head is filled with the memories of our adventures, our enterprises, and the fun times we spent together. My life was much enriched with the time I spent with Gary. Alice and I always found that Gary was our favorite friend to visit when we returned to Lovell for family vacation visits. To Gary’s family, please accept my sincerest sympathy. I am saddened with your loss, and I am saddened with the loss of the very close friend of my youth.

Many memories of doing things with Gary, from working with him, hunting trips, to a fishing trip in Alaska, my favorite. Things were usually not dull when you were with Gary. Gary sometimes put up a rough exterior but always had a kind heart underneath. I will miss him. I can picture him and John sitting down and discussing life right now as I write this. Rest in Peace Gary!

Marlene and Jerry - my condolences to all of you. Since hearing of Gary's passing, I've had so many memories arise. The bus at graduation - camping and hanging at your house! Absolutely loved your mom and dad. Hoping the reunite and a meal is waiting from Berniece as we know she did all the house hold work. May the memories help you during this difficult time. Love to all!
