Barbara Kryger Obituary

Barbara was a wonderful woman who loved drives and was always going somewhere. She was very outgoing.

Barbara Asay Kryger, 72, of Lovell Wyoming, passed away at Billings Clinic Hospital in Billings Montana of natural causes on November 9th, 2025.

She was born in Lovell in 1953 to Bernadine Claire Marshall Asay and Verner Leroy Asay. She loved hanging out with her best friend Barbara Yoshioka (deceased). Barbara attended South High Highschool in Salt Lake City, Utah before joining the work force at Ocean Pacific (OP).

Barbara met the love of her life, William M. Kryger, in 1981 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Excited to start their new lives together, Barbara proposed to William and the two were married in Salt Lake City, Utah on Aug 15, 1985.

Though she loved going for drives and seeing the wild horses. Barbara’s favorite role was that of a grandparent. She treasured all her time with her grandkids and loved being there with and for each and every one of them.

Nobody could've asked for a better woman and will miss Barbara every day. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved and will always love her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Bernadine Claire Marshall Asay and Verner Leroy Asay, as well as her brother, Leroy Asay. She was also preceded in death her loving and loyal husband, William M. Kryger.

She is survived by her sister, Virginia Asay (Taylorsville, Utah) and by her son Cody Kryger and his wife Deana Kryger, and all seven of her grandchildren.
