Obituary

Bonita (Bonnie) Rae Jensen passed away in Lovell, WY on November 21, 2022, after a long battle with cancer at the age of 79. Bonnie was born March 14, 1943 in San Diego, CA to Arthur and Minnie (Scouten) Farnam. She graduated from Huron High School, Huron, SD in 1961.

Survived by her Sons Mark Stratton, Brett Jensen, and Daughter Tracy Santos. Sister Betty Carol Chapin, and Brother Donald Arthur Farnam. 18 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Jensen, her parents, her son Duane Barry Stratton, and her daughter Connie Lee Pike, great granddaughter Kaylee Spomer, and her sisters Dixie Farnam, Shirley Shanahan, Lois Serfling, and Jean Peterson.

Bonnie worked 20 years as an Accountant, 10 years as a CNA, and 20 years in Manufacturing.

Bonnie enjoyed spending time with family, friends, sewing, making dolls, horses, gardening, reading, the outdoors, rodeo, and house plants.

Calibration of life well be held the weekend of May 27th, 2023, at the Community Center in Lovell, Wyoming with final burial in Sturgis, SD at the Veterans Cemetery.
