Colleen J. Peregoy

Colleen was born in Germany on an Air Force Base. They then moved to the United States, and she grew up in New Jersey and the Dakota’s. Colleen was married young and had 2 daughters and a son: Laura, Melanie, and Joseph. When the children were little, Colleen and the kids moved to Minot, North Dakota where she raised them on her own with help from Oma.

Colleen became a LPN in 1986, she worked hard and long hours to provide for her children. Early in 1997 Colleen and Vance met. They soon found they sure enjoyed and loved one another. By 2001, Colleen moved to Wyoming and married Vance. This union gave Colleen 2 bonus children, Dusti and Drew, plus she received a big rowdy family. Colleen loved this! She has 19 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Colleen’s calling was being a nurse. She was a nurse for 34 years. She was a very kind and loving lady to her residents, family, co-workers, and friends. Colleen had a deep love for the Lord and was happy to be a member of the Lutheran Church here in Lovell.

We called her Blondie. Our Blondie loved to read and write poetry. Blondie has had many poems published and this was a fantastic thrill to her. She completely loved her grandbabies; she would travel far to see them. Blondie would do as many activities as she could with them. Blondie loved to travel, and she went on many exciting adventures with her friend Debbie. She went on a huge adventure with her granddaughter Zenaena to Europe. Blondie and Vance also had many fun day adventures with Dave and Dixie. Blondie was at her happiest reading or gardening at home with Vance and Toby (Toby is the cat)!

We are a close family and do many things together, but she sure enjoyed watching the grandkids, nieces, and nephews camping and playing together.

We love you dearly Blondie and will miss your sweet smile.
