Delbert Raye Johnson

Delbert Raye Johnson passed away November 26, 2022, at his home in Frannie, WY at the age of 83.  Delbert was born May 4, 1939, in Luverne, MN to Elmer O. Johnson and Julia S. (Rulon) Johnson.

Delbert married Patricia Durbin in Luverne. Delbert and Patty moved to Oregon four years later and raised five daughters, they have been in Wyoming for 20 years. They celebrated their 63rd anniversary in July.

He attended trade school and became a machinist. After he retired, he continued working with his lathe, he could fix just about anything. He also enjoyed working with wood and made amazing gifts for loved ones. Delbert loved babies and animals too.

Delbert was preceded in death by his parents, brother Doran and 5 grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Patty, 5 daughters, LaVetta, Schera, Vidette, Jauneen, Kaylee, adopted daughter, Kaitlin, brother Greg, 20 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Delbert's kindness and humor will be missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held May 4, 2023, at the Deaver Methodist Church, followed by interment of ashes at the Deaver Cemetery
