It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Doris Jean DeGraw, who left this world peacefully on December 7th, 2025, at the age of 92. Surrounded by loved and cherished memories, she closed a long and beautiful chapter filled with kindness, glory for God, and unwavering devotion to those that she loved.
Doris was born to Charles and Ella Baughman near Snyder, Colorado on March 26th, 1933. She was the youngest of 6 children and the baby until the seventh was adopted.
Doris went through school in Snyder, then continued to college in Greeley, where she studied to be a teacher.
July 6th, 1953, Doris gave her hand in marriage to Bill DeGraw, a handsome red headed country boy. They made their home in LaBarge, Wyoming. Together they raised a family of three girls, Cris Carlson of LaBarge, Shirley Colyar of Byron, Jo Teal of Douglas, and a son, Rich DeGraw of Crestview, Florida. Doris has 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, and hundreds of children who call her Grandma Doris.
Her devotion to Jesus and love for the gospel has touched so many lives. Her giving spirit and heart for adventure will forever be remembered by all that knew her.
She was met in heaven by her husband Bill, all six of her siblings, and her grandson Jesse.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that monetary donations be made to the Lovell Bible Church. Donations can be made in person at 56 East Main, Lovell, WY 82431. Donations can also be addressed to the Point or the Shiloh Technical Institute at the address above. Donations are also welcome at the New Horizons Care Center in Lovell, WY, attention Activity Department.
Cremation has taken place, and the family will hold services at a later date and time to be announced.
