Joyce Earl

Joyce Earl, 93, died November 15, 2025, at the New Horizon Care Center in Lovell, Wyoming. 

Joyce was born July 1, 1932, in Lovell, Wyoming at the home of Joseph L. Earl and Sarah Minnette Earl. She was their fifth and last child.  She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She graduated from Lovell High School in 1950.  Joyce worked for the Ford Motor Company during her Senior year.  She attended Brigham Young University for one quarter before returning to Lovell to work as an accountant for JC Penney.  Leaving Lovell in 1951 to seek employment, she moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, Riverside, California, and Farmington, Utah for the next 40 years.  Retiring from JC Penney Regional Office in Salt Lake City after 17 years.  She returned to her hometown of Lovell in 1990.  She kept herself busy working as secretary of the Lovell Chamber of Commerce, opened a restaurant and was director of Community Services.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Genevieve Fink, brother-in-law, William Fink, sister, Romola Wardell, brother-in-law, Ross D. Wardell, Jr, sister, Phyllis Earl, brother, Lowell E. Earl (Sodie), sister-in -law, Josephine Earl and nephew, Norman E. Wardell.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Haskell Funeral Home from 10 to 11 am followed by a Grave Side Service at the Lovell Cemetery at 11:15.
