LaVerne would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received a call for an appointment from which she could not turn down. This call comes with a huge bonus, a reunion with family and friends she has been wanting to see for a long time. LaVerne Sessions Thatch, 90 years young, was called home in the early morning hours on April 18, 2021 surrounded by her family.
This amazing lady was born to Ethel Ross Sessions and Thurman Sessions on May 27, 1930. She was the oldest and bossiest sister to 4 brothers Richard, Allen, Stanley, and Michael. She had a crush on a tall dark handsome local Lovell boy. William (Bill) Thatch married LaVerne on December 5, 1952. They were later sealed for time and eternity in the Honolulu Hawaii Temple.
LaVerne was preceded in death by her husband William Thatch, parents Ethel and Thurman Sessions, brother Richard Sessions, sister in law Lana Sessions, brother in law Jack Thatch, and sister in law Kaye Jameson Thatch, and great grandson Ezekiel Rael.

LaVerne spent the last couple years living at Westpark Village senior living care center in Billings, MT. The family would like to express our gratitude and love to all the staff that lovingly and graciously cared and enjoyed our mom. She was famous for her beautiful voice and amazing dance skills and her willingness to help anyone who needed it. A special Thanks to Stillwater Hospice who guided and helped our family through the process of losing our much-loved Mom.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday April 26, at 2:00 at the Lovell Wyoming Stake Center. Viewing prior to service in the Relief Society Room.
