Lori Lynn (Walker) Martin

Lori Lynn Walker Martin, 64, of Watauga, Tennessee, passed away on June 13, 2023, from cancer.

Lori was born June 4, 1959, in Lovell, the fourth child of Wayne Richard and Marva Smith Walker.

Lori was a lover of books, art and family. She enjoyed candy making and quilting. Her career focused on being a chocolatier and helping the disabled.

Her passing was preceded by her father and brother-in-law Melvin Layne.

She is survived by her husband, Perry Lee Martin, of Watauga; her mother of Lovell; sisters Marwyn Layne of Lovell, Gayle Schott of Denver and DeAnna (James) Green of Cheyenne; brothers Bryce Walker and Wendell Walker, both of Lovell; 23 nieces and nephews; and 42 grandnieces and grandnephews.

Funeral services were held June 20 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lovell at 2 p.m. Burial followed in the Lovell Cemetery.

Arrangements were handled by Tetrick Funeral Home in Elizabethton, Tennessee, and Haskell Funeral Home in Lovell.
