Roberta Jane (Galbreath) Hinderliter

Roberta Jane Hinderliter of Basin WY went home to our Heavenly Father after a long illness. She was born October 6, 1942, to Dale Smiley and Lillian Verle Galbreath in Pittsburg PA.

She met and married C. Ray Hinderliter and had 3 children. Thomas, Cathryn, and Charles. She was a happy homemaker, was involved with Girl Scouts of America, The Lions, and NAMI. She worked with the Shilo Boys Home and became a foster parent along with her husband. She met Diana and became her foster mom. She also was a ‘Mom’ to many of the kids who hung out with her children.

 She had lots of friends. She played Bridge with the ladies’ group and couples bridge with her husband.

After her children were grown, she was part owner of the I-76 Motel n Cafe in Roggen CO from 1987 through 1994; and then moved to Wyoming after getting the K-Bar Motel in Greybull WY from 1997 through 2008.

Lots of love and laughter through the years with her family and friends. Yearly vacations across the country. She had a wonderful life.

Her son Thomas gave her a granddaughter, Marci; and her daughter Cathryn gave her Bree, Brittany, and James.

She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her brother, and her son Thomas.

She is survived by her husband Ray, her children Charles, Cathryn (Dan Thomas) her grandchildren Bree (Jay Savage), Brittany (Tim Turner) James Higgs, Marci (Bill Huntley) and 5 great grand children.
