Sharon Hallman Obituary

Sharon Lee (Sigmon) Hallman passed away peacefully on July 30, 2025, in Billings, MT with her daughters by her side.


Sharon was born on January 5, 1945, in Lovell WY, to Eldridge and Jessi Sigmon. She attended and graduated school from Lovell WY. On June 27, 1969, she married Everett Hallman. Together they had 3 children: Dena, Travis, and Sandra, and 13 grandchildren. Sharon was a proud mom and grandmother; her family meant the world to her. She lived in Lovell, Byron, and Cody for the majority of her life.


Sharon and Everett were joined for all time and eternity in the Idaho LDS Temple, although their marriage ended after 38 years, they remained close friends.


Throughout her life Sharon worked at the Lovell Big Horn Bakery, Powell Hospital, and Lovell Care Center as a CNA. She truly cared for the residents she provided care for.


In the latter days she enjoyed collecting tea pots and bird figurines. She had quite the flock, and was especially fond of Cardinals. She was passionate about getting her hair and nails done.


Sharon loved her friends and caregivers dearly and appreciated all that they did for her.


She was as strong as they came, she was a breast cancer survivor and was battling stage 4 lung cancer and kidney failure and heart failure. Despite the odds, she persevered, she kept going and was a fighter until the very end.


Sharon was proceeded in death by her parents Eldridge and Jessi Sigmon, daughter Cheri Lynn Mahoney, sister Carol Ann Sigmon, brothers Larry and Kay Sigmon, and her eternal companion Everett Hallman.


Sharon is survived by her daughter, Dena (Rick) Martel and their sons Brandon and Nick, son Travis (Tammie) Hallman and their children Rachel, Sam, Emily, Spencer, Rulen, and Layla, and daughter Sandra (George) Roof and their children, Jordan, Deklan, Logan, Dawson, Colton.


A memorial service will be held Saturday August 9, 2025, at 10 am in the Byron, WY LDS church, followed by grave side burial in the Lovell, WY cemetery.
