Tomasa (Rodriguez) Gutierrez

Tomasa Rodriguez Gutierrez, 86, of Lovell, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at New Horizons Care Center. She was born on December 29, 1934, to Eusebio and Ramona Varela Rodriguez.

Tomasa attended school in Lovell and has lived in Lovell until her passing. During her life in Lovell, she worked at the canning factory and the sugar factory. She married Fidencio Gutierrez. Her pride and joy was her son Gabriel “Gabe” Gutierrez.

Her main priority in life was taking care of her parents, siblings, and various nieces and nephews. Tomasa enjoyed visiting with family and cooking for them. She also enjoyed getting to travel to visit her family in Mexico, California, Montana, Minnesota, Washington, and many other places.

Tomasa was preceded in death by her parents Eusebio Rodriguez and Ramona Varela Rodriguez; brothers, Frank Rodriguez, Sam Rodriguez, and Lyle Franco; and sisters, Andrea and Marina Rodriguez.

She is survived by her husband Fidencio Gutierrez of Lovell; son Gabriel Gutierrez of Lovell; brother Alex Rodriguez Sr. of Lovell; sisters, Camilla R Rodriguez of California and Ramona (Ramon) Frias of Powell; and many many nieces and nephews.
