At age 52 he retired and was able to enjoy life with his family. His past hobbies included roping, flying small planes, riding his Harley, boating, water-skiing, golfing, and hunting. He has had many adventures. His highlighted adventures included traveling across the country with meme in his RV, making his way to the Kentucky Derby 2012, and his bear hunt in Canada with his eldest grandson, Derik Henderson. He shared many adventures with his family: camping and gambling. Wayne was one who enjoyed life and lived it to the very fullest.
